Welcome to the Australian Labradoodle Founders Alliance (ALFA)
The ALFA alliance was formed in 2009 by a group of international breeders concerned about the future of the authentic Australian Labradoodle. ALFA's role was to safeguard the integrity of breeding programs, uphold strict health testing and DNA regimes, and to keep the pedigree database. In January 2012 The Australian Labradoodle had its name changed to 'The Australian CobbaDog' in order to meet the critera required for pure breed recognition, due to the confusion surrounding the name 'Australian Labradoodle'. With the acceptance of the Australian CobbaDog, by the arm's length All Breeds Pure Breed registry, Master Dog Breeders & Associates (MDBA) ALFA'S purpose has now been fulfilled. See Restructure |
